WHAT IS THERE TO CONSIDER BEFORE ORDERING?
The same rules apply as for the linkware
graphics and it is most important that you read them before ordering anything.
Except for CDs, the graphics come in zip format and are to be downloaded via internet, so please
make sure that you can open such files. (See this page for more
info.)
If you're interested in the Craft Clipart sets it's very important that you first test the
free sample graphics to see that your program can handle/import the PNG format.
Also please read the other replies on this page, and you're of course always welcome to email me
if something is unclear.
HOW DO I ORDER VIA PAYPAL?
Using PayPal is easy and secure.
If you have an account with them you can order from various internet shops without giving out
your credit card information. You can also choose to transfer money to the account beforehand
and use those funds to pay.
If you don't have an account you need to use your credit/debit card.
1) On the set's own product page (with the samples) scroll down to the blue 'Buy now via
PayPal' hedgehog button. When you click on it you will see the shopping cart and what you have
put in it.
2a) If you want to buy more sets click on of the two 'Shop at...' buttons and repeat the steps in
#1. If you are ready to pay click on 'Checkout' to complete the payment.
2b) Regarding credit card: To pay with a card, on the PayPal page (after you have clicked on 'Checkout'
in the shopping cart) click where it says 'Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank
account (where available). Continue.' Follow the instructions on the screen.
3a) If you purchased downloadable items the link(s) has been sent to your primary PayPal email address
(if you don't receive it, check your Junk folder or contact me).
3b) If you purchased a CD, remember to email me your postal address and you should receive
it within a couple of weeks.
If you have any problems, don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you!
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GIF AND BMP?
The GIF format is meant for the internet, such as websites or emails, but can also be printed if
your program handles such files. BMP graphics are meant for printing and can't be used on the
internet (they are huge files and many browsers don't even display them) and they are mainly for
those whose programs can't handle GIF files. For the BMP versions I have removed all stuff
related to the internet (such as guestbook and email signs).
CAN I PRINT THE WEBGRAPHICS?
Yes, they print very nicely in actual size. However, keep in mind that both GIF and BMP files are
based on pixels and do not resize very well, so it's good if you download this
'test kit'. It contains some BMP
graphics you can try and print out, to make sure the result is satisfying. If you want to test
the GIF format, you can use any of my linkwares.
WEBPAGES, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
HTML pages (webpages) are included in all of my collections (GIF format) except Previously Online. With
those you can view the graphics in your browser, just like an ordinary website, without being
connected to the internet. You can easily browse through them to see what you have and of course
also print them if you want to. To see the file names, just keep your mouse arrow over each
graphic.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE UPDATES?
I sometimes update existing collections. If you purchased the older version you'll normally
have the new one for no additional charge (download only). I advertise the updates in the
'what's new' table on site map page. If you're not a frequent visitor, keep an eye out on the
dates in the collections menu.
When you're entitled to an update (if you are unsure, don't hesitate to ask) just email me
and I'll send it to you. Please don't forget to identify yourself, so that I can check my
records.
DOES YOUR GRAPHICS WORK ON A MAC/IMAC?
GRAPHICS FOR DOWNLOAD: There usually are no problems for Mac/iMac users to order and use my
graphics, but if you want to make sure, you can download and open this
zip file. It's in the same format as the purchaseware
collections.
GRAPHICS ON A CD: If you have MAC OS8 or above, a CD shouldn't cause you any problems. I have
tried it myself on MAC OS9 and it worked just fine. :-) If you have an older OS, I recommend
that you if possible borrow a CD from someone using PC and try it before you order.
