WHAT ARE THE RULES, AND WHY?
The same rules apply to all the graphics and it is most important
that you read them before you use/order anything. It might seem strange that you have to
worry about rules when you have paid for the graphics, but what you actually
pay for is the right to use the graphics - not ownership over them.
You can compare it with purchasing a music CD. You can play it yourself and allow your
friends to listen, but you can't spread copies, resample the music and call it your own, or
even play it in public. You can of course purchase that right from the creator (if it is for
sale), but that will cost a lot more...
MAY I USE YOUR GRAPHICS ON ITEMS THAT I SELL?
Yes, you can read more about it here.
MAY I USE YOUR GRAPHICS ON SITES THAT I DESIGN FOR OTHER PEOPLE?
Sorry no. It's not allowed to decorate other people's sites/pages/emails/auctions. This means
that webdesign businesses can not use my graphics
MAY I DIGITIZE THE GRAPHICS?
Yes, but only for your own use. Viking
Software have exclusive rights to sell/share such designs.
There are a few people who purchased a licence while it was still available and they are
allowed to continue using the graphics. (Have a look at the links pages if you want to
see who they are.)
What you can do is digitize the graphics and embroider them onto a finished item, such as
clothing. You are welcome to sell those items as long as credit is given. You can read
more about it here.
CAN I CREATE CROSS STITCH CHARTS AND OTHER PATTERNS?
Yes, but only for your own use - never to share with other people. The main
reason is that I intend to do that myself later, so I need to keep the exclusive
rights to myself.

CAN THE GRAPHICS BE USED FOR SIG TAGS?
Yes, but only for your own use - never to share with other people. (Only the people
who registered in my database while it was available (Nov. 2005 to Jan. 2007) can do that.)
